Hi, guys, long time, no see. Sorry for disappearing for so long - school has been insane. /: I was honestly really hoping to bring DB back up, but my classes have proven more demanding than I expected. I'm hoping to keep my GPA up (I slacked off a LOT during sophomore and junior year, so I've got a lot of making up to do) - I simply don't have the time to run a TCG as fast-paced as DB right now. So we've come to the unfortunate but inevitable: Dearly Beloved is closed. D: It was a short run, but by no means meaningless - DB was honestly one of the greatest, most active TCGs I've seen in a long, long time, and I thank each and every one of you so much, because it's you guys, really, that made it so great. This was, as most of you know, my first attempt at running a TCG - now I know what works and what doesn't, and I'll have this experience to work from in case DB ever comes back. c: But until then, enjoy the other great TCGs out there, and I'll see you in the future!

Hi, everyone. I'm really, really sorry about this, but Dearly Beloved is going into a state of hiatus. D: During the hiatus, the games will not be updated. You send in contest entries and forms (including join forms), but they will not be answered anytime soon. The forums will be closed to protect against the spam we've been getting recently. Dx You can, of course, continue trading among yourselves. I hope to explain my decision below so hopefully you guys won't hate me:

1. In the summer, I work at a children's day camp for seven to eight hours a day. I come home mentally and physically exhausted. In this state, it's very hard for me to drag myself up to the (extremely hot) room where my desktop computer is and make decks, update games, etc.
2. I have about a month left to finish all the projects I was assigned for AP Art. As much as I love art, as with any other homework, I've kind of shunted it off to the side in favour of you guys and this TCG. xD If I procrastinate any longer, I'm gonna be screwed when I get back to school. I need to dedicate myself to that right now.
3. On account of my very poor planning, this TCG is going at a much faster pace than I expected; some of you are mastering/leveling up at an alarming rate, and it's making me a little (a lot, actually) nervous. The last thing I want to happen is for someone to hit the highest level or master all of the decks they like and then sit there like "... Now what?" xD Over the course of this hiatus, I hope to think of ways to slow gameplay down a notch.

The reasons are all either selfish or entirely my fault (or both), but I really hope you guys can understand. ;; Once summer is over, I hope to bring DB back up. I scheduled a pretty easy senior year, so things should run smoothly once more.

Another week gone! I want to thank you guys for the messages you're leaving with your comments for the updates - seeing you all happy with the TCG really puts a smile on my face. <33

I'm finally getting around to coding random events, so be aware of any friendly Moogles passing your way - they might have something to give you! ;D On the other hand, beware of Heartless and those irritating Nobodies - they've got tricks rather than treats.

Otherwise, not much else to say this week. I feel like I'm forgetting something... I'll edit the post if I remember. It's probably because of this horrible ulcer on the back of my throat; it's just killing. ;; I think I'll go lie down now.

Edit: I remembered what it was! I just now realized that the mastering rewards were a little ridiculous, so I changed them just a bit - from a worth of 7 to 5. Hope everyone's okay with that.

Hello, all! Maybe some of you've noticed that I've been falling behind a little in terms of form replies and rewards and whatnot, and I'd like to issue an apology. I started my summer job on Tuesday (I work at a summer day camp), so work dictates my schedule and my energy level. x_x I'll try to get to everything as soon as I can each day, and I hope you understand!

Also, it's my dad's birthday tomorrow, so go ahead and take one choice card for each letter of D-A-D. c': No more than one card per deck, comment with what you took, and the deck does not have to start with the letter to count - the letter just needs to be included in the deck name.
